Robotics & Human-Centered AI
We design and develop intelligent robotic systems that interact with humans, assist in healthcare, and operate autonomously in real-world environments.
About Us
The AI & Robotics Excellence Lab at Pacific States University (PSU) is dedicated to advancing research in human-centered robotics and healthcare AI. Our mission is to bridge cutting-edge laboratory research with real-world applications that enhance patient care, assistive technologies, and intelligent healthcare solutions.
Our team conducts interdisciplinary studies integrating robotics, artificial intelligence, and human-centered design to develop systems that improve clinical outcomes, optimize workflows, and support user engagement. Currently, we are developing climbing wearable robots and autonomous golf caddies, pushing the boundaries of assistive robotics and autonomous mobility.
The lab actively collaborates with global scholars, industry partners, and healthcare institutions through research projects, workshops, and symposia. We currently accept undergraduate and master’s degree students who are eager to participate in research and gain hands-on experience in robotics and healthcare AI.
